During the renovation of the Raiffeisen Bank building in Pécs, we carried out a complete modernisation of the building's mechanical systems. One of the biggest challenges of the project was the extremely tight schedule: only 2.5 months were available to complete the entire renovation, from dismantling to final installation. The project included the renovation of the building's ventilation, heating and cooling systems, the installation of a new air handling unit and chiller, and the implementation of a four-pipe fan coil system. Replacing the large mechanical equipment located on the roof also required careful planning and coordination. The crane operations had to be carried out from Rákóczi Street in Pécs, where heavy daytime traffic made it necessary to close the road overnight. The road was available for crane operations between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, meaning that the existing equipment had to be lifted down and the new units hoisted onto the roof within a single night. Thanks to precise planning, efficient coordination and well-organised installation work, the comprehensive building services renovation was successfully completed within the challenging timeframe.
